The Bumblebee Children’s Charity

On Wednesday 17th December the WM W Bro Ricky Horton, Charity Steward W Bro Richard Gould and DC W Bro Chris Lee of the Old Framlinghamian’s Lodge No 6646 paid a visit to The Hive, home of the The Bumblebee Children’s Charity to deliver over £1000 of much needed equipment and a range of art therapy supplies – books, paints, pencils & brushes – courtesy of Get Started Art, an Essex based charity run by an Essex mason Bro Dave Barton.
WM Ricky Horton commented – It was amazing to see the reaction of the children as they literally started to use the therapy equipment instantly.”
Staff at the charity were delighted with the bonus of the art therapy supplies as it plays a major part in the development of the children on site as they undertake tasks designed to assist with physical, cognitive, social, and emotional support.
