Simon reports;

Over the course of the five days, we had some real highs—such as crossing the old Forth Road Bridge and enjoying bacon sandwiches at the top of one of the biggest hills of the trip—as well as a few lows and challenges: a wet and cold Day 2, some really steep hills, and strong headwinds across the Fens. We kept up our spirits with moments of laughter, singing, and teamwork, all of which helped us complete the challenge.

We were somewhat surprised when we arrived back in Norwich, as friends and colleagues had laid on a welcome reception for us to celebrate the end of our epic challenge.

We self-funded the trip to guarantee that every penny we raised went directly to fund research and provide care and compassion for those battling this disease. To date, we have been overwhelmed by people’s generosity in terms of donations, messages of support, and encouragement. So far, we have raised over £11,500.
